Longrow Peated is a heavily peated single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown. It is made for those who enjoy a lasting smoky character, likened to smoke rising from a kiln.
The nose is very creamy, with vanilla custard. The smoke builds gradually rather than covering the other aromas, and roasted marshmallows, herbs and rich fruit appear with time. The palate is rich and creamy with a light medicinal note, and the smoke arrives in waves. The finish is gentle, with smoke that lingers.
