Longrow Peated

Longrow Peated is a smoky single malt from Campbeltown, made at the Springbank distillery. The malt is dried over a peat fire for 48 hours, and the whisky is twice distilled. Fewer than 100 casks are bottled each year. It is vatted from six 14-year-old Longrow casks, ranging from 50 to 550 litres in size. The nose carries herbal, vanilla and sweet fruit notes through the peat smoke. The palate is balanced, full and soft, with a light medicinal note and smoke that washes over the tongue in waves. The finish is long and smoky, with some fruit returning.
