Longrow Peated is a heavily peated Campbeltown single malt made at the Springbank distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Longrow is the smoky side of Springbank, made with far more peat than the classic Springbank and sometimes compared in style to Islay whiskies. It is bottled non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The nose is strong peat smoke with maritime notes, bonfire, ash and fresh citrus. The palate is oily and full, with smoke, malt, vanilla and spice, plus salty hints and a background sweetness. The finish is long, smoky and dry, with oak, ash and a light salty breeze.
