Longrow Red is a 10 year old single malt from the Springbank distillery, matured in Malbec casks and bottled at a cask strength of 52.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The Red series is released annually in small quantities, and each year a different type of red wine cask is used for maturation. This year's expression is the Malbec.
It is described as smooth, elegant and subtly juicy, a different sensation from Longrow Peated.
