Longrow is a heavily peated single malt from Campbeltown, bottled by the Springbank Distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in bourbon and sherry casks, and it is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour.
The nose is very creamy, with vanilla custard first. Smoke develops, and toasted marshmallows, herbs and rich fruit follow over time. The palate is rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint, and the smoke washes over it in waves. The finish is gentle and smoky, and it lingers.
