This is a single-cask American single malt from St. George Spirits in Alameda, California, selected for Lost Lantern's 2022 releases as cask number 10. The spirit was distilled in a pot still and aged for nearly four years in new American oak.
It was bottled at cask strength, 53.35% ABV (106.7 proof), and yielded 215 bottles. St. George is known for high-ester malts, and this one favours a bright, floral, fruity profile over traditional wood notes.
The nose is floral and perfumed, with lemon curd, green apple, white flowers and fresh linen. The palate is oily and full-bodied, with orange blossom honey, jasmine tea and grassy spice. The finish is long and buttery, fading to vanilla bean and lemon custard.
