St. George Spirits – Baller American Single Malt Whiskey (75cl)

Baller is an American single malt from St. George Spirits, made in the distillery's own pot stills on the former Alameda Naval Air Station. It is produced from 100% American barley, mostly two-row pale malt with the remainder lightly roasted. The whiskey ages for a minimum of four years in used bourbon casks and French oak wine casks, and is filtered through maple charcoal. It is then finished in casks that held the distillery's own umeshu, a Japanese stone fruit liqueur made from California-grown ume. The name nods to the Japanese highball tradition, and Lance Winters designed the label. The nose is malty and grain-forward, and the palate brings juicy plum with chewy malt.
