M & S Special Reserve Kenmore 5 Year Old

Kenmore Special Reserve is a 5 year old Scotch whisky bottled under the M & S name. It is described as full, smooth and lightly peated. Its name appears to come from a small village at the north east end of Loch Tay, close to several distilleries including Edradour, Aberfeldy and Glenturret. The nose offers toffee and sherbet lemons, with sticky flapjack behind. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, nutmeg, some of that lemon and freshly cut oak. The finish is fairly long, with rice pudding, cinnamon bark and clove.
