Mac-Talla Fèis Ìle 2026 Cognac Cask, released as Friends of the Fèis 2026, is a limited edition of lightly peated Islay single malt. It was matured first in first-fill bourbon casks, then given a two-year finish in Cognac wood. It is bottled at 52.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose is sweet almond croissants, fine pastry, ripe orchard fruit and a restrained sea freshness. The palate brings freshly baked pastry, poached pears, warm pineapple and toasted coconut with an elegant smokiness. The finish is gentle peat smoke and winter spices, drying and pleasantly lingering.
