Mac-Talla Strata is a 15 year old Islay single malt, bottled by the independent bottler Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. It matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, and is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and with no colouring added.
The nose is smoked barley with stewed fruit. The palate shows sherry, fruit, winter spices and delicate smoke, leading to a long, well-balanced finish.
