This is a 10 year old Macallan single malt matured in sherry oak, in a 70cl bottle. It comes in the matte brown box that was used between 2004 and 2006.
The 10 year old has a place in the distillery's own history. When Macallan took over responsibility for its bottlings from Campbell, Hope & King in 1980, it inherited 8 and 12 year old age statements and soon added a 10 year old alongside them. The 10 year old stayed popular for many years before it was discontinued in 2013.
