This is a 12 year old Macallan single malt from Speyside, made on the Easter Elchies estate and bottled in 2023 at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in sherry casks, is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose combines sweet oak, lemon zest and vanilla sponge, with a light note of pear.
The palate is soft, recalling treacle sponge with lemon-scented cream, followed by a basket of orchard fruits.
