The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old is a single malt from the Speyside distillery's Sherry Oak range, in its 2022 release. It was matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and stayed in the same casks for the full 18 years. It is bottled at 43% ABV and has a light mahogany natural colour.
The nose is dried fruits and ginger with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is soft and rich, with spice, clove, orange and toasted mature oak, and the finish lingers with dried fruits, ginger and orange zest.
