The Macallan – 12 Year Old Sherry Oak (75cl)

This is a 12 year old single malt from The Macallan, in a 75cl bottle, part of the Sherry Oak range. The whisky was matured for the whole 12 years in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and its colour is a natural rich gold. The spirit stays in the same casks throughout, and the character is built around spice and dried fruit. The nose is complex with hints of vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and balanced, with fruit, oak and spice, and the finish is long with sweet dried fruits, oak and spice.
