Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask is a Speyside single malt, bottled by the distillery at 40% in a 70cl bottle without added colour.
The nose has dried fruit and baked apple, soft caramel, candied orange, light oak and creamy vanilla sweetness. The palate opens velvety with honey pastry and wild berry preserve, with more caramel, light raisin notes and a little cinnamon. The finish is medium in length and intense, with raisins and vanilla, turning drier with orange peel.
