Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask is a single malt from Speyside, aged for twelve years. It is matured in a combination of American and European oak casks that were previously seasoned with sherry.
The whisky is a golden amber in the glass. The nose offers vanilla and dried fruit with a little oak and spice.
On the palate it is smooth and creamy, with toffee, citrus and dark chocolate alongside warm spices. The finish is long, with sweet oak and a touch of spice.
