Macallan 12 Years Double Cask is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
Macallan was one of the first legal distilleries in Scotland. Alexander Reid received a licence in 1824 to distil on the Easter Elchie House estate, where whisky making began as a sideline to farming.
Roderick Kemp took over the estate in 1882, and his family shaped Macallan over the following 100 years.
