Macallan Double Cask 15 Years is a 15-year-old single malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks made from both European and American oak. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The two kinds of oak give the whisky a warm, distinctive character. Vanilla, citrus and butterscotch come to the fore, resting on the richer Macallan notes of fruit, sherry and wood.
