Macallan A Night On Earth – The Journey (2023) Nini Sum

Macallan A Night On Earth – The Journey is the third release in a limited-edition series celebrating Hogmanay, the Scottish New Year. This 2023 edition was designed with the artist Nini Sum, who drew on her memories of New Year fireworks and lanterns lighting her street. The whisky was matured in ex-sherry American and European oak casks, then in ex-bourbon American oak. The nose offers vanilla, biscuits, plum, almond and baked apple. On the palate there are pastry, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, dried fruit, orange, fig and cinnamon, and the finish is sweet with caramel and biscuits.
