A limited edition Speyside single malt from Macallan, released in 2024 in a 70cl bottle as part of the A Night on Earth series. This chapter, The Journey, looks to China and the New Year, and was created in collaboration with the Chinese artist Nini Sum, who designed its multi-layered packaging.
The whisky combines first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels with European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks.
The nose is toasty oak with citrus, vanilla, oat biscuits and coconut. The palate has lemon and lime with toasted coconut and vanilla sponge, and the finish is medium, with sweet toasted oak and a dusting of spice.
