Macallan – A Night on Earth The Journey

The Journey is a limited edition single malt from Macallan, part of its A Night on Earth series. This release travels to China and is a first-fill combination of American ex-bourbon casks with European and American sherry oak casks. It was inspired by the artist Nimi Sum and her journey home to China to celebrate the new year. The packaging was designed in collaboration with her. The nose is toasted oak with citrus, vanilla, oat biscuits and creamy coconut. On the palate, lemon and lime freshness mixes with toasted coconut and vanilla sponge. The finish is medium, with sweet toasted oak and vanilla and a hint of spice.
