Macallan – Classic Cut 2021 (70cl, 51%)

Classic Cut 2021 is a Macallan single malt in a 70cl bottle at 51% ABV, with natural colour. It was created by the Whisky Mastery Team to show the part that ex-bourbon American oak casks play in the range. The sweet lightness of those casks is combined with the depth of Macallan's sherry seasoned American oak. The colour is golden oak. The nose offers orange zest and oil, fresh vanilla, ginger, fruit jellies and marzipan. On the palate come fresh oak, gingerbread, vanilla custard and cinnamon, and the finish is medium sweet with spiced fruit.
