Macallan Classic Cut 2023 Edition is a high strength single malt, bottled at 50.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a combination of ex-bourbon American oak and sherry-seasoned European oak casks.
The release is built around adding 'one cut' of water, which opens up the flavours. Fresh pear is the main tasting note, and almond biscotti comes through once the water is added.
