Macallan Classic Cut 2023 is a Speyside single malt matured in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon casks and sherry-matured European oak casks. This edition is built around pear and almond biscotti, with the almond character coming forward when a little water is added.
The nose is pear and elderflower with light almond and rich vanilla pod. On the palate are sweet, creamy vanilla, juicy pear and lemon peel with delicate oak. The finish is of medium length, with sweet oak and almond biscotti.
