Classic Cut 2024 is the eighth edition of an annual limited series from The Macallan, a Speyside single malt whose profile changes with each release. It combines whisky matured in American ex-bourbon casks with whisky from ex-sherry casks made of European oak.
The colour is golden butter toffee. The nose offers rich vanilla, orchard fruit, marzipan, citrus peel, fresh herbs and sweet oak. On the palate come vanilla custard, milk chocolate, sweet green apple and balanced oak spice, leading to a long, rich and sweet finish.
