Macallan – Colour Collection 21 Years Old (Limited Edition) (43%)

This is a 21 year old Macallan single malt from the Colour Collection, a release that marks the distillery's commitment to natural colour and sherry seasoning. It is bottled at 43% ABV. The whisky matured in American oak with a subtle addition of European oak, and the casks were seasoned with sherry from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. It has not been coloured, though it is chill-filtered, and its warm bronze shade comes from the wood alone. The aromas are of tropical fruit, coffee, hazelnuts and dark orange chocolate.
