Macallan – Edition No. 2 (70cl)

Macallan Edition No. 2 is an annual limited release from Macallan, a single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is a collaboration between master blender Bob Dalgarno and the Spanish chefs Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca, each of whom chose a cask. Joan Roca, the head chef, picked first and second fill Diego Martin casks for green wood and toffee flavours. Jordi Roca, the pastry chef, selected first and second fill Vasyma American oak casks for light vanilla and citrus notes. Josep Roca, the sommelier, chose first fill Jose Miguel Martin casks, which bring spicy ginger. Dalgarno picked a first fill Tevasa cask for dried fruit and sherry character.
