Macallan Edition No. 4 is the fourth release in an annual series of limited editions. It is bottled at 48.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The edition is tied to the new Macallan Distillery, and to the craftsmanship and pioneering design behind it, drawing on whisky making at Macallan since 1824.
In the glass, nutmeg, wood spices and green cloves arrive straight away on the nose. The intensity then settles, leaving a sweet, vanilla-led, viscous coating in the mouth.
