Macallan – Edition No. 6

Macallan Edition No. 6 is a Speyside single malt and the final release in the Macallan Edition series. It takes its inspiration from the River Spey and the Macallan Estate. Whisky Maker Steven Bremner hand-picked all five cask types used, with 393 casks of American and European sherry oak in total. The Spey is known for its Atlantic salmon, and Macallan works with the Atlantic Salmon Trust on conservation. Steven also drew on the craftsmanship of fly-fishing brand Hardy. The nose offers rich fresh fruit, nutmeg, ginger, chocolate and toffee. On the palate come plum, sweet orange, cinnamon and oak, and the finish carries fresh fruit, spice and toasted oats.
