Macallan Edition No.6 is a single malt from Speyside, in a 70cl bottle at 48.6% ABV. Released in 2020, it is the sixth and final bottling in the annual Edition series.
The whisky was matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned casks, a combination of first and second fill American and European oak. The release takes its inspiration from the landscape around the distillery, including the River Spey, home to endangered wild Atlantic salmon. Macallan is working with the Atlantic Salmon Trust on awareness and conservation work.
