Macallan Folio 6 - The Archival Series Limited Edition

Folio 6 is the sixth release in The Macallan Archival Series, which recalls the print, press and advertising campaigns Macallan ran in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. This edition is based on a humorous advertisement in which The Chairman appears as a Scotsman dancing the Highland fling above a pen and a brush, the symbols of the advertising team Holmes and Salaman. The whisky comes with a booklet echoing the old advertising, plus digital content, in a book-shaped tin. It has an autumnal, chestnut colour. Orange and ginger lead the nose, with poached pear, vanilla and spice, while the palate brings oranges, sultanas and soft milk chocolate. The finish is warm with ginger.
