Macallan – Harmony Collection Amber Meadow (70cl, 44.2%)

Amber Meadow is a Speyside single malt from Macallan, the third release in the Harmony Collection. It appeared in 2023 and was made in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney, with the whisky making team drawing on warm meadows and ripening barley fields. It was matured in sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks and bottled at 44.2% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour. Meadow cuttings are reused in the labels and the gift box, which carries Mary McCartney's photographs of the Macallan estate. The nose is of orange and lemon with honeysuckle, vanilla and coconut. On the palate, firm oak, lemon and melon meet scones, almonds and green tea. The finish is long, rich and sweet.
