A limited edition from the Macallan Harmony Collection, created in collaboration with JING Tea. It takes its inspiration from Phoenix Honey Orchid, an oolong tea from the Phoenix mountains of China, and is bottled at 43.9%.
The whisky matured mainly in sherry-seasoned American oak, with older stocks from sherry-seasoned European oak and a few ex-bourbon casks.
The nose offers peach, apricot, floral honey, tropical fruit, toffee and sweet oak. The palate has peaches in syrup, warm citrus and a floral note with a hint of green leaf. The finish is fruity and sweet, with tropical and honeyed tones.
