Macallan Rare Cask 2023 is a Speyside single malt from the Rare Cask series, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is drawn from hand-selected oak butts seasoned with European sherry.
On the nose, vanilla and raisin come first, followed by apple, lemon and orange. The palate is oak-led, rich and polished, with vanilla, chocolate and a light citrus zest. The finish is full and warming.
