This is an 18 year old Macallan from the Sherry Oak range, issued as the 2014/1996 release in a limited edition. The range is matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry oak casks from Jerez.
The whisky has a natural, light mahogany colour.
It is described as full-bodied on the palate, with ripe oak, ginger and raisin.
