The first release in The Macallan Home Collection, dedicated to the distillery itself. This Speyside single malt, released in 2022 as a travel exclusive, comes in a 70cl bottle.
The packaging shows the distillery in watercolour, painted by Colin Rizza, an artist and Macallan employee whose family has worked on the estate for three generations. The collection takes its inspiration from the 485-acre Macallan Estate.
The nose is butterscotch, figs, dates, almond, polished oak, milk chocolate and a gentle floral note. The palate has butterscotch, oak spice, ginger and vanilla. The finish is medium, with ginger and oak.
