Macallan – The Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut

A single malt from The Macallan Harmony Collection, which began in 2021 and ends with this sixth release in 2026. The series explores ways to reuse natural by-products in its packaging, and here the theme is coconut: discarded coconut fibres go into the paper, and charcoal from coconut shells gives it its black colour. The whisky was matured in sherry-seasoned American oak casks with high levels of oak lactones, which bring out coconut-like aromas, with Bourbon casks adding balance. The nose offers fresh coconut, lime, lemon and orange, with mango and papaya. The palate has lemon-vanilla sponge, desiccated coconut and coconut milk, and the finish carries coconut with a lingering floral honey sweetness.
