Macallan – The Harmony Collection Jing (70cl, 43.9%)

The Macallan Harmony Collection Jing is a single malt inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid, a tea from JING with rich dessert-wine aromas and exotic fruit notes. It is bottled at 43.9% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured mainly in American oak casks with sherry extract, balanced by European oak with sherry extract, which adds a pleasant toasted richness. A subtle addition of casks that previously held bourbon brings sweetness at the end, echoing the dessert-wine aromas of the tea. The flavours are fruity and floral.
