Macaloney's Cath-Na-Haven is a single malt distilled, matured and bottled in Victoria, British Columbia. It is made from malted barley from British Columbia and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which bring red berries, plum and raisins to a creamy malt body, with oak spice, tannins and a light sea-breeze note.
On the nose, red berries, plum and oak lead into dried fruit and floral malt. The palate is full and creamy, and the finish is long, with dried fruit, oak spice and a hint of sea salt.
