Mackmyra – Moment (70cl, 48.6%)

Mackmyra Moment is a Swedish single malt whisky, bottled by the distillery at 48.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Mackmyra is based in Gävle, north of Stockholm, and describes itself as the northernmost distillery in the world. The idea for it came to eight friends on a winter holiday in 1998, over a glass of whisky, and they founded the company in 1999 as the first Swedish whisky distillery. The first spirit ran in December of that year from a still they had built themselves.
