MacLeod's Isle of Skye is an 8-year-old blended Scotch whisky from the 1990s. Its blend brings together island malts and malts from Speyside and the Highlands.
The nose is smoky, with crème anglaise, digestive biscuits, cocoa powder and a touch of sea salt. On the palate it is sweet and creamy, with sticky toffee pudding, gingerbread, fruitcake and sherried spices, and a little smoke underneath.
The finish is nutty and spicy, with almond oil and black pepper.
