MacNair's Lum Reek 12 Year Old is a small-batch blended malt created by Master Distiller Billy Walker. It brings together single malts from Islay and Speyside, both peated and unpeated, including aged GlenAllachie.
The whisky was matured at The GlenAllachie Distillery in a mix of first-fill Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and red wine casks. It is bottled without added colouring or chill-filtration, and the spirit has a rich bronze colour.
It is usually described as sweet peat smoke with warming mocha, Scottish heather and butterscotch.
