MacNair's Peated 12 Year Old

This is a 12 year old peated blended malt Scotch whisky from MacNair's, made by combining selected malt whiskies. Smoke, fruit, sweetness and spice are balanced, with the peat present but not dominant. The nose has heather honey, ripe fruit and warming spices, with aromatic peat smoke and hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is rich and rounded, with sweet malt, orchard fruits and caramelised notes, plus warming spice and earthy smoke. The peat grows more pronounced as it develops. The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke, gentle spice and a touch of sweetness.
