MacPhail's 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of its MacPhail's range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. The range reflects the company's long-standing work as a maturer, sourcing new-make spirit and ageing it in carefully chosen casks. After more than two decades in cask, this 21-year-old has a pronounced sherry-influenced character. Tasting notes describe tart citrus, spice and rich sherry on the nose, then Seville orange, stewed fruits and roasted nuts, with fruit and charred oak in the finish.
