MacPhail's 21 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Gordon & MacPhail, a business the source of which draws on more than a century of experience across four generations of one family. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured for 21 years in sherry wood, including first and second fill casks.
The nose has fermented fruits, sweet toffee and smoky charred wood. The palate brings sherry wood, leafy and dry grass notes, and sweet, spicy elements. The finish is long and spicy, with rich fruit.
