An extra añejo cristalino tequila from Maestro Dobel in Jalisco, Mexico, made from 100% Blue Weber agave. It is distilled in traditional copper pot stills, aged in American and Eastern European oak barrels for multiple years, then charcoal-filtered to remove colour while preserving flavour. It was originally released to commemorate the 50th birthday of 11th-generation tequila maker Juan Dobel.
Tasting Notes
Vanilla bean, caramelized sugar, toasted oak and subtle agave sweetness, with hints of almond and citrus.
Silky and refined, with honey, baked agave, caramel, light chocolate and delicate oak spice.
Exceptionally smooth and lingering, with gentle sweetness, soft spice and polished oak.
