Maestro Dobel Añejo Tequila (40%)

An añejo tequila from Maestro Dobel, produced in Jalisco, Mexico, from 100% Blue Weber agave. It is aged for approximately 18 months in American white oak barrels, longer than the minimum required for the category, and is blended from tequilas at different stages of ageing. The extended oak influence gives a profile that often appeals to those moving from whiskey into tequila, with toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and light agave sweetness on the nose. The palate is rich and smooth with toffee, roasted nuts, baking spice and subtle cooked agave, and the finish is long and warming with lingering oak, vanilla and gentle spice.
