This Craigellachie was distilled in 2007 and matured for ten years before being bottled by the independent bottler MahJong Project. Craigellachie is a Speyside distillery.
The nose offers ripe orchard fruit, mainly pineapple and apple, with a sulphurous, mineral edge and a hint of toasted malt. The palate is robust and textural, with sweet vanilla, a touch of spice and a firm malty core. The finish is medium-long, with dried fruit and a gentle warmth.
