Maioli Dogliani DOCG

A red wine showing a lively ruby colour with violet reflections. The olfactory profile favours fresh red fruits, cherry and marasca notes, with a hint of field flowers. The sip is balanced and medium-bodied, with good acidity keeping the drinking lively and measured tannins giving structure without heaviness; persistence is coherent, leaving a pleasant note of ripe fruit and slight sapidity. It is pleasant to drink now and versatile at the table, pairing with traditional cured meats, meat-based first courses, grilled white meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve around 16-18 °C, possibly lightly aerated.
