Maker's Mark – 101 (70cl, 50.5%)

Maker's Mark 101 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 101 proof, which is 50.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is made at a small distillery in Loretto, about 7 km south of Bardstown, where wheat is used in the mash in place of rye. Each bottle is dipped by hand in red wax, which forms the brand's recognisable seal. The distillery is the smallest in Kentucky and fills around 30 to 40 barrels a day.
